Can I ask advise on a yoga retreat in Europe? Each year I go away for a week's retreat, somewhere warm to help the muscles open up, to somewhere quiet with a week's intensive ashtanga training. However, this year I want to go away with my girlfriend Jane who is not into Yoga, and likes beaches, red wine and generally much more upbeat venues... I can't afford two breaks! Does anyone know somewhere I can combine the two? I do not like Skyros - everyone there is miserable and starving - but I know Jane would love Greece or Italy. I suppose I am looking for a ashtanga venuethat is (coincidentally) based somewhere very funky... I accept I will have to give up much of the quietness and "retreat" nature of the event! We don't want to bring jet lag into the equation, so much be no more than 4 hours from London...
