Subject: [Kundalini Yoga] Clearing the effects of abuse
Can anyone recommend a meditation to help an adult reconcile the abuse they received as a child? I have a friend who was severely abused and carries around so much pain in his heart. We are in the middle of a 40-day kirtan kriya practice and this is the only KY he has ever done. He seems to be feeling better since we started but I get the sense that once the 40 days is over, he will want to stop. He is so talented that I'd love to see him continue with something - I'm doing the kriya with him every day to encourage him. If anyone has any suggestions or recommendations for a meditation to try after this one, I'd love to hear about it.
Sat nam!
Stephanie
