[Kundalini Yoga] I could use some words of encouragement

I started daily yoga stretch set 3 months ago. I have only missed about 4 days of morning practice in that time. Then about 1 month ago I started the adrenal/kidney set.

At first the adrenal set made me feel so great! Strong and positive.
Lately I feel two things I don't like -
I'm hungry all the time - a gnawing feeling which normally indicates to me that my adrenal system is not operating well.
I'm also obsessing about some conditions at work, which is about nothing real - it is my mind searching for ways to sabotage myself
{old pattern}.

I'm thinking that perhaps the adrenal set is balancing my body so I may experience feelings I don't like.
I have no intention of stopping the set -
but would like to know if anyone has done this set and what you experienced-
and also if anyone has found themselves sabotaging themselves even tho they have a good practice.
