[Kundalini Yoga] Siam Kriya

Sat Nam!
I would like to start practicing Siam Kriya as depicted by Gururattana in Relax and Renew and I notice that the first asana is done on one side only. Is this correct? I see that on a Spanish website there are alternate sides.

If only one side is used, does it mean this kriya is effective in boosting ida nadi?
Has anyone practiced this? It would be a great help to hear of your experience.

I was practicing strengthening the aura but I find I get too easily angry now! Time for cooling down.

Wahe Guru!
