I have often wondered if there was a specific number of times to repeat a mantra when you use it on the fly so-to-speak (as opposed to using it for a daily meditation of 11min, 31min etc).
I often use the Ad Guray Nameh mantra throughout my day for various purposes since it is a protection mantra (e.g. while driving, wishing someone protection or good will). It's a great one for quieting all kinds of monkey mind thoughts and promoting good energy toward others.
Like tuning in to a kriya, Ong Namo is chanted at least three times (or so I was told). Is there a specific number of times to chant the Ad Guray Nameh mantra or will only saying or thinking it once have just as much strength and effectiveness.
