I'll start - I've been doing Zumba classes at 24 hour fitness once or twice a week. What does dancing have to do with yoga? plenty it turns out. I first took Zumba because my former hatha yoga teacher was leading.
Zumba is basically dance to latin and world music. Their tag line is "ditch the workout , join the party" It really challenges all that work we do on the lower triangle by moving hips every which way, works flexibility in the spine and is a great aerobic work out as well. Don't think it is just for 20 something women - I'm a 53 year old guy and love it (but find it challenging!)
Also I like stand up paddling - Which is sort of a combo of surfing and canoeing. It is a major core builder and since you are standing it really challenges balance.
Be well,
Tom
